Specifically-designed spaces GIVE students an environment that primes their minds to speak, act, think, and learn.

Diana Pai, Faculty Member

Our girls have always found ways to maximize the space we have available for them. They use hallways, classrooms, and gyms as places to gather, to laugh, and to learn.

This build will give our students the very best flexible learning environments possible,
for their needs both today and tomorrow.

The TECHNOLOGY AND DESIGN LAB will allow our students to connect theoretical knowledge with hands-on learning. The space will inspire our girls to become imaginative problem solvers as they think, design, and build in both classes and co-curriculars.

The LASSONDE LIBRARY is a special place at our school, used to read, learn, reflect quietly, and tackle group projects. Doubling the size of this key space will allow for the small seminar rooms that our girls are seeking, along with the larger spaces where groups and full grades can gather.

Curiousity and creativity will thrive in our new JUNIOR SCHOOL ART STUDIO. With northwestern exposure to natural light, students will be able to embrace their inner artist as they experiment with diverse materials, techniques, and styles in this large and bright space.

The CAFETERIA, with an optional hot meal plan, will provide students with a space to eat, laugh, learn, and grow together. We are committed to flexibility in all of our spaces, so this area will double as a meeting space where staff and students can gather to participate in grade and school-wide activities, project work, professional development, and individual study.

  • MORE CLASSROOMS

By adding new classrooms, we will be able to ensure our Upper School students have the best breadth of course offerings possible as they prepare for post-secondary life.

We know how important it is for our students to be known and feel valued. To ensure this in our Middle School, grades will be split into smaller homeforms to allow even closer connections between teachers and students.

  • MIDDLE SCHOOL + SENIOR SCHOOL HUBS

These school-specific hubs will give our students large, open spaces to gather together both for class work and also for those fun social moments that fill our halls with that SCS magic.

  • LARGER LINCWELL SPACES

Our LINCWell approach ensures that our students feel supported at every moment in their learning journey.

By expanding our LINC space, more students will be able to access these resources in a more comfortable way.

  • JUNIOR + Middle SCHOOL SCIENCE LAB

Our young Clementines—some of whom may be the scientists of tomorrow—will benefit from access to our new Science Lab and the chance to perform experiments hands-on!

Take a tour of our new space.

Construction began on our project in June 2022.

With the support of our full community, we’re looking forward to being in our new space in the Fall of 2023.
